2. Scope and purpose of processing personal data

2.1 When visiting our portals

If you use our digital offerings without providing any further information, the web server technology we use automatically records general technical visit information in so-called log files. This includes, among other things, the IP address of the device used to access the site, information about the browser type, the Internet service provider, and the operating system used, which of our digital offerings were accessed, reference/exit pages, and the time and duration of the visit.

This information is collected and processed to enable the use of our websites (establishing a connection), ensure system security and stability, analyze the use of our offers and services, collect general demographic information, and enable the optimization of our internet offering (in particular, but not exclusively, product improvements, marketing measures, target group-specific advertising, etc.), as well as for internal statistical purposes. Users are not identified in this process. Likewise, no connection is generally established between this automatically collected information and personal data stored by us. However, an exception to this general rule may exist if you already have a registered user account on one of our portals. Regarding the processing of personal data of registered users, you will find further detailed information in sections 1.b and 1.c below.

If you send a message to a third party (e.g., an advertiser) using a corresponding function on our portal, we may store it. You can also receive free services on our portal. Any personal data you provide when using a free service or with the message (email address, telephone number, etc.) may be used by us for marketing and analysis purposes, for example. We may publish information published by you on our portal on other platforms and in other media (such as newspapers), possibly in an adapted form.

2.2 When registering a user account

For personalized services or access-protected areas, or to process inquiries and administer your subscriptions, you may be required to register and thus create a user account. This requires the entry of certain personal data. This applies, for example, to

This also applies to your username or any nickname you may have chosen for this purpose. We would like to point out that such data, once published online, may still be accessible to third parties, for example, via search engines, even if you or we initiate deletion or anonymization.

By confirming the recording and modification of your user account information when completing the registration process, you guarantee the accuracy of the information you have entered.

2.3 When using a portal as a registered user

During the use of the portal by registered users, we collect data for statistical purposes, to ensure the smooth functioning of the portal, and to analyze, optimize, and personalize the use of our offers and services. We collect data about whether and how you use our digital offerings, in particular which functions and advertising you perceive and how. Further information on the processing of this personal data can be found below in Section 1.d and Section 4.

If you use our portal as a registered user, statistical data may be visible to other registered users and may be collected and evaluated by us.

2.4 When purchasing / obtaining a paid service

If you purchase a product or use a paid service on our website, you are required to provide information such as your first and last name, address (full postal address, postal code, city), and any other data, as we need this to process the contract with you. If you choose an online payment option such as credit card or PayPal to purchase a product or a paid service, payment will be made via the respective provider's online payment system. In this case, personal and payment data will be processed directly by the provider of the respective payment system. We do not know or store your payment data. The data protection regulations of the respective online payment system provider also apply.

If you are registered and have a user account, we can save your data in the user account for the next purchase / conclusion of a contract.

In any case, we store all information about your current and previous purchases and contracts, i.e., the products, services, the number of products and services per purchase, and the payment amount. You hereby agree that we may use this information for marketing and analysis purposes. The analysis of your user and purchasing behavior may result in sensitive personal data or personality profiles.

3. Consent

By collecting and modifying your information, you consent to the processing, use and disclosure of the same within the scope and scope of the purposes described in this privacy policy.

4. Email advertising / online advertising

6.1 Transfer of data to affiliated companies

For example, the data of buyers of our premium subscription is shared with SMZH, which supports customers during the purchasing process and does not use the data for any other purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade any personal data you provide to us outside of Neubau Portal AG.

Apart from the disclosures described above, we will only disclose your personal data if you have expressly consented to this, if there is a legal obligation to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims arising from the contractual relationship.

If we sell, merger, or otherwise reorganize some or all of our company's assets, personal information may be transferred, sold, or otherwise shared with third parties as part of that transaction or reorganization.

If we make advance payments, for example, when purchasing on account, we may obtain a credit report from a credit agency based on mathematical and statistical procedures to protect our legitimate interests. 7. Transfer of personal data abroad

We are entitled to transfer your personal data to third-party companies (contracted service providers) abroad, provided this is appropriate for the data processing described in this privacy policy. These companies are subject to the same data protection obligations as we are. If the level of data protection in a country does not correspond to that in Switzerland, we contractually ensure that the protection of your personal data corresponds to that in Switzerland at all times.

8. Right to information, correction or deletion
